Assignment Details

• Project Duration: 16 months
• Start Date: 17 August 2026
• Location: Hybrid (Remote with approximately 10 on-site days per month  Warsaw/Poznań/ Vienna)
• Languages: English (mandatory), German and Polish (preferred)

The role is responsible for establishing and governing the end-to-end testing framework across multiple business and technology streams, coordinating all testing activities, managing risks and defects, and ensuring readiness for migration, cutover and business acceptance.

This position requires extensive experience in large-scale financial services transformation projects involving system replacement, data migration, regulatory compliance and complex stakeholder management.

SCOPE:

The Test Manager / Test Lead will be responsible for:

Test Strategy & Governance

• Develop and maintain the overall Test Strategy and Test Concept
• Define testing methodology, governance and quality standards
• Define:

-Test levels

-Test types

-Entry and exit criteria

-Roles and responsibilities

-Acceptance criteria

• Establish testing governance across all project streams
• Ensure audit-ready and regulator-compliant testing documentation

Test Planning

• Develop and maintain the integrated Test Plan
• Define testing timelines and milestones
• Coordinate:

-SIT

-UAT

-Regression Testing

-Migration Testing

-Parallel Run Testing

-Cutover Testing

-Business Acceptance Testing

• Identify dependencies across project streams

Test Design

• Derive test scenarios and test cases from:

-Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)

-Target Operating Model (TOM)

-Functional Specifications

-Solution Designs

-Process Documentation

-Migration Requirements

-JIRA Epics and User Stories

• Ensure complete traceability from requirements to executed test cases

Test Environment & Data Management

• Define test environment strategy
• Coordinate environment readiness
• Define and manage:

-Test data

-Test users

-Authorisations

-Interfaces

-Dependencies

• Support migration rehearsal environments

Test Execution Management

• Coordinate execution across business and IT teams
• Monitor testing progress
• Ensure adherence to schedules
• Facilitate:

-Test preparation meetings

-Daily defect meetings

-Status meetings

-Go/No-Go meetings

-Test acceptance workshops

Defect Management

• Establish defect management process
• Manage defect lifecycle using JIRA
• Prioritise defects together with business and IT
• Track resolution progress
• Escalate critical issues where required
• Produce defect trend analysis

Reporting

Produce regular reporting including:

• Test Status Reports
• Test Progress Dashboards
• Defect Reports
• Risk & Dependency Logs
• Executive Steering Reports
• Test Readiness Reports
• Test Closure Reports

Quality Assurance

• Ensure testing complies with internal governance
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance
• Provide Go/No-Go recommendations based on objective quality metrics

SKILLS

• 8+ years in Test Management or Test Leadership
• Proven experience delivering testing for complex enterprise transformation projects
• Experience in financial services or asset management
• Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, migration and cutover testing
• Experience managing testing across multiple workstreams
• Strong JIRA and Confluence expertise
• Experience managing defects and test reporting
• Experience working with business and IT stakeholders
• Fluent English
