The developer will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including business analysts, QA, architects, and infrastructure teams, to deliver secure, stable, and performant applications. This includes new feature development, ongoing enhancements, technical analysis, defect resolution, and participation in system releases.

Scope:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain .NET REST services hosted within SharePoint, supporting INIS immigration processes.
- Work extensively with .NET Server Side Solutions and SharePoint Workflows.
- Experience in developing against large data-sets/ lists in SharePoint and the limitations that imposes.
- Analyse and improve legacy workflows for re-development in a SharePoint environment, ensuring long-term maintainability and alignment with technical standards.
- Experience in design and administration of Site-level SharePoint Online solutions and library governance.
- Design of CSOM based console applications for bulk data operations and migrations.
- Understand complex existing business logic and reverse-engineer legacy components when required.
- Perform technical impact assessments for new features or changes.
- Convert functional requirements into detailed technical designs.
- Integrate INIS applications with internal/external systems via REST/SOAP services hosted within a managed BizTalk environment.
- Work closely with BizTalk administrators to facilitate integration work between SharePoint and 3rd party applications.
- Ensure integrations comply with security, performance, and data-governance standards.
- Work with front-end developers to analyse requirements for integration of new scheme features with the existing SPFx components.
- Assist in the development of new components for front-end features when required.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues using ULS logs, and monitoring tools.
- Apply secure coding practices aligned with OWASP and public-sector security policies.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Support QA during functional, integration, and regression testing cycles.
- Prepare and validate deployment packages, configuration files, documentation.
- Liaise with the Operations and support teams to plan deployments of assets to SharePoint.
- Aide Production Support team in diagnosing and triaging incidents in the SharePoint based Solution.
Skills:
- Minimum 7 years of overall development experience, with 5+ years in SharePoint enterprise development.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- C# SharePoint development (SSOM & CSOM), SharePoint Workflow design, REST Web Service development and testing.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with complex business logic.
- Strong debugging, code analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Effective communication skills for working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on government or public-sector systems.
- Familiarity with Form.IO data structures and REST service usage.
- High-Level Familiarity with BizTalk as an orchestration tool.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools.
- Understanding of modularisation or migration of legacy applications.
- Knowledge of containerisation (Docker) or cloud-native principles.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborative delivery.
