Scope:
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with deep expertise in Vue.js and TypeScript to lead and execute the migration of our enterprise web application from Vue 2 to Vue 3.
In this role, you will own the frontend architecture, drive component-driven design, and maintain our monorepo setup while moving legacy functionality to modern paradigms (Composition API, Pinia, Vite, and Vitest). You will work closely with cross-functional Agile teams and interface directly with backend engineers working on .NET APIs to ensure seamless integration, high performance, and robust accessibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Vue 3 Upgrade: Architect, refactor, and migrate existing production functionality from Vue 2 to Vue 3, handling breaking changes, dependency updates, and API adaptations.
- Implement, maintain, and optimize a modern monorepo architecture (e.g., using Lerna, Turborepo, or Nx) to support scalable, modular frontend growth.
- Drive component-driven development and maintain high standards for web accessibility (WCAG), application responsiveness, and bundle size optimization.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive unit and component testing strategies using Vitest.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable styles using SCSS, CSS Modules, or modern CSS-in-JS/utility frameworks.
- Configure and optimize frontend build processes (Vite, Webpack) and participate in automated deployment workflows across CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner closely with backend developers to design, document, and consume RESTful .NET APIs.
- Lead code reviews, mentor team members on Vue 3 / TypeScript patterns, and continuously refine Agile development workflows.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of frontend development experience, with a heavy emphasis on Vue.js and TypeScript.
- Proven hands-on experience migrating production applications from Vue 2 to Vue 3, including deep familiarity with the Composition API and Pinia.
- Proficiency in unit testing frontend applications using Vitest.
- Strong expertise in modular CSS strategies.
- roficiency with Git, GitHub, and exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Concourse, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy).
- Fluent English
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with or consuming .NET APIs (C#).
- Hands-on experience with Storybook for UI component testing/documentation and PyTest for automated E2E testing workflows.
