We’re looking for a Senior SRE / DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on AWS/DevOps experience to improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our microservices-based platform.

About the role: This role is more focused on automation, infrastructure, and platform reliability rather than core application development. Python will be mainly used for scripting, performance testing, and building reusable tools.
Client actively use open-source technologies and follow a serverless-first approach. Their stack includes AWS services like ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, etc., all managed through Infrastructure as Code in a highly automated environment.
Scope:
- Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform/CloudFormation
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
- Work with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) and microservices architecture
- Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting using Datadog
- Maintain and enhance automation scripts and IaC setups
Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in AWS / DevOps roles
- 2+ years of hands-on Python experience (automation/scripting focus)
- Strong experience with AWS, especially serverless and container-based services
- Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS)
Good to have:
- Exposure to FinOps (cost optimization)
- Interest or experience in AI-driven automation, prompt engineering, or “vibe coding”
- Understanding of platform engineering concepts
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect Associate or similar)
