Job details:

• Role:Senior SQL Server DBA
• Full-time
• Hybrid work, 40% from Capgemini’s office in Krakow or Wrocław, 60% home office
• Start date: 16/03/2026
• End date: 31/12/2026

Scope:

• Provide expert-level administration of Microsoft SQL Server environments hosted on Azure
• Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience for critical workloads
• Responsible for installation, tuning, security hardening, backup/restore, and HA/DR strategy
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues
• Partner with cloud engineers and architects to design optimal database deployments
• Automate operational tasks
• Maintain strong compliance and audit posture across database platforms

Skills:

• DP 300 (a key certification for this role),
• experience with SQL Server HA/DR, AlwaysOn, migrations, and performance tuning,
• Azure certifications (AZ 104, AZ 305),
• knowledge of automation (Terraform, PowerShell),
• security awareness (SC 900 / Security+),
• fluency in English.
