Scope:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, and .NET to join our core backend engineering team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining our database architectures, ETL workflows, and data pipelines. You will own the health and performance of our SQL environments, maintain robust SSIS packages, and ensure high-performance data delivery to the .NET APIs powering our client-facing applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and tune SQL Server databases (T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and execution plans) to ensure peak speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensure clean, reliable, and high-performance data delivery consumed by downstream .NET APIs.
• Design, build, update, and maintain complex SSIS packages for data processing and ETL workflows.
• Implement enterprise-grade logging, data validation, audit trails, and automated error handling across all SSIS routines.
• Support ongoing changes to data structures, schemas, and processing workflows as application needs evolve.
• Conduct rigorous unit, integration, and data validation testing across T-SQL routines, SSIS packages, and supporting .NET components.
• Integrate data workflows into modern CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure management frameworks using version control (Git) and automated deployment tools.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of dedicated backend engineering experience, with a heavy emphasis on SQL Server and SSIS.
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (advanced T-SQL, complex stored procedures, query optimization, indexing strategies).
• Extensive experience creating, updating, and troubleshooting production SSIS packages, including error-handling patterns and logging.
• Solid working experience with .NET (C#) backend environments.
• Practical experience with Git, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), and deployment tools (e.g., TeamCity, Octopus Deploy)
• Proven track record in automated data validation, regression testing, and query plan analysis.
• Fluent English

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)—specifically BigQuery or Cloud Storage—serving as source/destination systems for ETL flows.
• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes for orchestrating or containerizing backend processes and ETL jobs
