Scope:

• Designing and continuously evolving a domain-driven microservice architecture aligned with business requirements
• Promoting and driving the implementation of the project’s technology strategy, architecture standards, and innovation initiatives
• Advising development teams on the implementation of technical architectures and design principles
• Developing and implementing backend services based on Kotlin, Spring, AWS, messaging technologies, and microservice patterns
• Developing and integrating frontend components and application interfaces
• Designing and implementing application interfaces, modules, and database integrations
• Building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Supporting Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps practices to enable automated deployments and operations
• Ensuring a stable and highly automated application operation environment
• Continuously improving system architecture, development processes, and engineering tools
• Implementing and customizing technical application components in accordance with established development standards and guidelines
• Collaborating within cross-functional DevOps teams that are responsible for both software development and operational support
• Contributing to software quality through modern engineering practices such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and agile development methodologies

Skills:

• Cloud/Infrastructure: Experience with microservice architectures based on AWS and Kubernetes (OpenShift), min. 5 years
• DevOps: Knowledge of methods and technologies such as end-to-end ownership, creation and maintenance of GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code, min. 5 years
• Practical experience with agile engineering practices such as Extreme Programming (XP), Test-Driven Development (TDD), etc., in a Scrum environment, min. 5 years
• Backend Software Development & Application Architecture: Kotlin development within application design concepts (e.g., Ports & Adapters, IODA, etc.), min. 5 years
• Software Development & Application Architecture: Frontend programming and architecture expertise, at minimum with React, min. 5 years
• German: C1/C2

Nice to have:

• Proven practical experience with strategic and tactical Domain-Driven Design (DDD) methods and tools, 2 References
• Strong level of autonomy: Thinks beyond assigned tasks, proactively identifies and communicates technical risks, and independently contributes improvement suggestions, 2 References
• Practical experience with infrastructure monitoring, log analysis, and related software solutions such as the EFK Stack, Prometheus, Kibana, and Grafana, min. 5 years
• Practical experience with professional web frameworks such as Spring Boot or comparable frameworks, min. 5 years
