Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Procurement Consultant to join our client’s Transmission Systems division. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP MM / Ariba / S/4HANA Procurement, with a strong understanding of integration across SAP modules and interfacing systems within complex industrial or engineering environments.

This role involves driving digital procurement transformations, optimizing source-to-pay processes, and ensuring seamless system integration across global platforms.

 

Scope:

  • Lead and deliver end-to-end SAP Procurement solutions, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI/CO, SD, PP, WM, Ariba, etc.) to ensure system alignment and process optimization.
  • Support integration between SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring data consistency and efficient workflows.
  • Conduct system upgrades and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Advise business stakeholders on procurement best practices and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide expert-level support during rollout and stabilization phases.

 

Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on SAP experience in Procurement (MM, Ariba, S/4HANA).
  • Proven experience with integration across SAP modules and external systems.
  • Strong business understanding of procurement processes within the transmission systems or industrial engineering sector.
  • Fluent in German (C1 or higher) and English (B2+).
  • Experience working in international, cross-functional project teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
