We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Developer for an on-going project. GW PolicyCenter – implementation of 5 additional LoBs on top of currently implemented 2 LoBs. This is a Phase 2 of already running implementation, so extension of already existing functionalities.
Client: Leading Czech Insurance company, member of a major European finance group
Scope:
- Design, configure, develop, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter functionality.
- Implement and customize PolicyCenter business rules, workflows, product model components, and integrations (in cooperation with GW INT DEVs).
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and Product Owners.
- Troubleshoot defects and support production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.
- Support deployments, upgrades, and platform enhancements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Skills:
- Deep understanding of the Guidewire InsuranceSuite platform with a strong focus on PolicyCenter.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Guidewire experience, specifically PolicyCenter configuration and development.
- Guidewire Associate Certification – InsuranceSuite Developer.
- PolicyCenter-related Guidewire certifications are highly desirable.
- Strong Java/Gosu development skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
