Job details:

• Hybrid in Wroclaw (1-3 times in the office per week)
• Full-time
• Start date: ASAP
• 1 year + extension

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as Data Engineer
• strong theoretical background in Business Intelligence (BI) concepts, including deep knowledge of data warehousing methodologies such as Kimball and Inmon frameworks
• fluency in SQL with hands-on experience working with SQL databases such as MS SQL Server and other relational database management systems
• extensive senior-level experience working with Azure Databricks, including development, optimization, and deployment of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using PySpark
• proven experience with Azure Cloud services, demonstrating the ability to design, implement, and manage data solutions within the Azure ecosystem
• hands-on experience working with diverse data formats including XML, JSON, CSV, parquet, position flat files, and other structured/unstructured data sources
• strong knowledge of data ingestion techniques such as APIs, message queues, streaming platforms, and database replication to build reliable and efficient data pipelines

Nice to have:

• experience with front-end BI tools, preferably Power BI, to support data visualization and reporting needs
• experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and version control, combined with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• demonstrates a strong growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning, quickly adapting to new technologies, and actively sharing knowledge to foster team collaboration and development
