Scope:

We are looking for Senior and Mid-level Data Engineers to join a high-impact engagement focused on modernizing data estate using Microsoft Fabric. You will be responsible for building scalable, end-to-end data pipelines that leverage the full power of OneLake, Spark, and the Medallion architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Build and maintain robust data pipelines using Fabric Data Factory and Synapse Data Engineering (Notebooks).
• Architecture: Implement and optimize a Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) within a unified OneLake environment.
• Performance: Optimize Spark jobs for large-scale data processing and ensure efficient DirectLake connectivity for Power BI reporting.
• Governance & DevOps: Implement automated deployments using Azure DevOps and Fabric’s native Git integration. Ensure data security through Fabric’s workspace and item-level permissions.

Required Skills:

• Deep proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL.
• Advanced Python/PySpark and T-SQL skills are essential.
• Data Modeling: Strong understanding of Star Schema and Delta Lake formats.
• Experience: * Seniors: Proven track record of leading migrations from legacy Azure stacks to Fabric.
• Intermediates: Solid experience building production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure.
• Fluent English (C1+) is required; German language skills are a significant advantage.
