Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead to drive the day-to-day execution of our cross-functional mobile product team.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between product requirements and technical execution. You will partner closely with our Product Manager to unpack requirements, facilitate all agile ceremonies, and optimize our delivery pipelines using Jira and Azure DevOps (ADO). You will protect and support a talented, multi-disciplinary squad of iOS and Android developers, QA engineers, and Data Engineers, ensuring smooth sprint execution and predictable releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Agile Facilitation & Ceremony Management: Lead Daily Ceremonies: Facilitate highly efficient Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives.

Workflow Optimization: Maintain and optimize our work tracking boards in both Jira and Azure DevOps (ADO), ensuring absolute transparency of task statuses, blockers, and ownership.

• Requirement Ingestion & Backlog Health: Bridge Product & Tech: Actively work with Product Managers/Owners to understand product requirements, ensuring they are translated into clear, actionable, and well-structured User Stories.

Definition of Ready (DoR) & Done (DoD): Ensure all incoming user stories meet the team’s “Definition of Ready” (with clear acceptance criteria) before they enter sprint planning.

Dependency Mapping: Proactively identify and map dependencies between front-end mobile development (iOS/Android) and back-end data pipelines managed by our Data Engineers

• Execution & Roadblock Clearing: Protect the Squad: Act as a buffer between the development team and external distractions to keep the squad focused on sprint goals.

Unblock Deliverables: Proactively identify and resolve technical or process bottlenecks (e.g., waiting on API contracts, test environment issues, or design assets).

Release Coordination: Assist in coordinating mobile app store release cycles (TestFlight, Google Play Console) alongside the developers and QA.

Requirements:

• Agile Expertise: 3+ years of experience acting as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead within a software development environment.
• Mobile Ecosystem Familiarity: Solid understanding of the unique nuances of mobile development (iOS and Android release cycles, store submission processes, and testing workflows).
• Tooling Mastery: Advanced, hands-on administrative experience configuring and managing Jira and Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Data-Awareness: Experience working with squads that include Data Engineers; you understand how data pipelines, tracking events, and analytics integrate with front-end mobile applications.
• Clear Communication: Exceptional capability to translate complex product requirements into technical steps and explain technical roadblocks to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications (Nice to Have): CSM (Certified ScrumMaster), PSM (Professional Scrum Master), or PMI-ACP.
