Scope:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Consultant in SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) to join our digital transformation team. In this role, you will play a critical part in a large-scale SAP conversion project migrating from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.

 

You will be responsible for assessing the legacy ECC solution, evaluating target impacts on S/4HANA, designing and customizing functional adaptations, validating migrated processes, and driving testing, cutover, and deployment activities for the TM module.

 

Responsabilities:

  • Analyze existing SAP TM configurations in ECC, conduct Fit/Gap assessments, and map out the target functional architecture in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Configure and adapt the SAP S/4HANA TM module (Basic TM) to meet business requirements and target operational models.
  • Analyze impacts on existing application interfaces; define functional adaptations for integrated flows with external logistics service providers (3PLs) and tracking systems.
  • Prepare test scripts, lead functional testing, and actively support Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Validate migrated data and processes, supporting smooth cutover, deployment, and post-go-live hypercare activities.

 

Skills required:

  • Proven track record in end-to-end SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration and conversion projects.
  • Deep SAP TM Knowledge: Multi-year functional expertise in SAP Transportation Management (Basic/Embedded TM) and surrounding supply chain processes.
  • Demonstrated experience across analysis, target model design, system customization, test management, cutover, and deployment.
  • Excellent ability to evaluate legacy ECC setups and articulate clear migration pathways to S/4HANA.
  • Italian and English knowledge (min. B2).
