We’re looking for an experienced SAP PP Consultant, for our international client.

 

Job details:

  • Role: SAP PP Technical Process Owner
  • Location: Hybrid, 2 days per week in Budapest, requested travel availability
  • Full time
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 12 months + extension

 

Scope:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP PP Technical Process Owner to drive the manufacturing workstream for a multi-year S/4HANA country rollout. This role is ideal for a consultant who balances deep technical configuration with a strategic understanding of the SAP Public Cloud „Fit-to-Standard” mindset.

 

As the PP Technical Process Owner, you will be responsible for the end-to-end manufacturing lifecycle within the S/4HANA landscape.

 

  • Production Excellence: Lead the design and implementation of Discrete Manufacturing, Repetitive Manufacturing, and Shopfloor Control.
  • Public Cloud Governance: Navigate the S/4HANA Public Cloud environment using Digital Discovery Assessment (DDA) and Central Business Configuration (CBC) to ensure scope alignment.
  • Country Rollout Support: Work closely with local business units to map requirements to the global template while maintaining „Clean Core” standards.
  • Process Ownership: Take accountability for the Manufacturing (MF) stream, from Master Data (BOMs, Routings, Production Versions) to MRP and execution.
  • Collaboration: Bridge the gap between technical developers and business stakeholders to ensure a seamless „Fit-to-Standard” implementation.

 

Skills:

 

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of SAP PP project experience.
  • Manufacturing Depth: Proven expertise in both Discrete and Repetitive manufacturing environments.
  • S/4HANA Public Cloud: Strong preference for candidates with Public Cloud experience. At a minimum, you must understand the DDA scope items and the CBC approach.
  • Methodology: Experience with SAP Activate and agile rollout methodologies.
  • Languages: English: Fluent (Required) – Hungarian nice to have
