We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with strong knowledge of Retail and Logistics processes to join our team in Bucharest. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring that SAP solutions effectively support business operations while meeting quality and performance standards.
 

Scope:

• Analyze and evaluate business and IT requirements, ensuring alignment with operational and client needs.
• Provide corrective and evolutionary maintenance for SAP applications and processes.
• Advise, support, and train key users and end users on SAP functionalities and best practices.
• Ensure the proper functioning of implemented solutions through integration testing and non-regression testing.
• Deliver functional support and troubleshooting assistance to end users.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications based on business requirements or functional design documents provided by Business Analysts.
• Provide technical recommendations when required to support solution design and implementation.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure consistent and efficient delivery of solutions.
• Configure SAP applications in line with business requirements while respecting quality, budget, and delivery objectives.
• Support business stakeholders in identifying, documenting, and formalizing their requirements.
• Analyze source code when necessary to understand end-to-end processes and data flows.
• Create and maintain functional documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization activities.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SAP Retail and Logistics business processes.
• Operational knowledge of ABAP and hands-on experience with at least one SAP module: MM (Materials Management) or SD (Sales & Distribution).
• Experience working with SQL and database queries.
• Strong ability to gather, analyze, and formalize business requirements.
• Experience writing functional specifications and technical documentation.
• Ability to perform development or programming activities within the SAP environment.
• Experience creating user manuals, training materials, and process documentation.
• Previous experience coordinating activities or leading small teams is considered an advantage.
