Scope:

SAP MII Ownership and Technical Leadership

• Lead the technical takeover, stabilization, and continuous improvement of SAP MII solutions.
• Analyze and optimize SAP MII architecture and application landscape.
• Define integration standards and technical best practices.
• Provide technical leadership for SAP MII-based manufacturing solutions.
• Support solution design, architecture reviews, and technology roadmap initiatives.

SAP ME & Manufacturing Execution Solutions

• Design, configure, and support SAP ME solutions supporting manufacturing operations.
• Lead SAP ME implementation and enhancement initiatives.
• Analyze manufacturing requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Support manufacturing process optimization and digitalization initiatives.

Manufacturing Systems Integration

Design and maintain integrations between SAP ME, SAP MII, and connected systems, including:

• SAP ERP
• SAP AHP
• Kafka-based integration platforms
• PLM/PDM solutions
• Shopfloor equipment through SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo)
• Third-party manufacturing applications (e.g., BEA, ASCO)

Project Delivery

Participate in all project phases:

• Requirements gathering
• Solution architecture
• Technical design
• Build and configuration
• Testing support
• Deployment and hypercare
• Act as subject matter expert for SAP ME/MII workstreams.
• Provide technical leadership during project execution and transition activities.

Workflow Management

• Configure and maintain SAP MII workflows.
• Design and optimize manufacturing execution workflows.
• Troubleshoot workflow and integration issues.
• Support end-to-end process orchestration across manufacturing systems.

IDoc Monitoring and Interface Support

• Monitor and support SAP ERP integrations with SAP ME.
• Analyze and resolve communication issues involving: LOIPRO, LOIWCS, MATMAS
• Support TGP project activities related to ERP interface monitoring.
• Ensure reliable processing and synchronization of manufacturing master and transactional data.

SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo)

• Configure and maintain SAP PCo environments.
• Support communication between SAP systems and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and interface issues.
• Manage secure communication setup, including certificates and connectivity configurations.
• Support integration scenarios involving shopfloor devices and manufacturing systems.

Operational Support and Continuous Improvement

• Perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Provide Level 2 support for SAP ME/MII solutions.
• Develop monitoring concepts, support procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement and technical optimization.
• Contribute to manufacturing standards and best practices.

Skills:

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ME experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP MII experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing execution processes.
• Experience with SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo).
• Experience integrating SAP ME and SAP MII with SAP ERP.
• Solid knowledge of IDoc processing and monitoring, including: LOIPRO, LOIWCS, MATMAS
• Experience with manufacturing system integrations.
• Knowledge of Kafka-based integrations.
• Experience integrating PLM, PDM, and shopfloor systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Project Experience:

• Proven experience delivering SAP ME/MII projects in manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading technical workstreams and solution design activities.
• Experience in implementing, stabilizing, or taking over SAP ME/MII application landscapes.
• Hands-on experience with production support and operational excellence initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in aerospace, automotive, industrial manufacturing, or high-tech environments.
• SAP ME / MII certifications.
• Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM).
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing concepts.
• Familiarity with event-driven integration architectures.
