We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA Administrator to manage and support SAP HANA systems across multiple landscapes. The role involves administration, monitoring, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability for business-critical environments, particularly supporting Insurance and Accounting operations (including month-end close activities).
The position requires strong production support experience, proactive issue management, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams in an international setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support SAP HANA systems across multiple landscapes
- Manage user administration, roles, and authorizations
- Perform monitoring, performance tuning, and proactive issue detection
- Investigate and resolve HANA-related incidents (performance, memory, availability issues)
- Manage backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures
- Handle SAP HANA replication and high-availability setups
- Apply patches, revisions, and upgrades in coordination with change management
- Support transport activities and perform post-deployment validations
- Conduct capacity planning and system optimization
- Support Insurance & Accounting business-critical processes, especially month-end close
- Participate in Run & Triage processes, providing timely analysis and resolution
- Provide on-call and weekend support when required
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards
- Document procedures, incidents, and resolutions for continuous improvement
- Work with ITSM and monitoring tools such as SAP Solution Manager, ServiceNow, and Jira

Required Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP HANA Administration
- Strong background in Production / Run support environments
- Experience with ITIL-based incident and change management processes
- Experience supporting business-critical environments
Languages:
- English (mandatory)
- German (optional, considered a plus)
