  • Location: Debrecen, Hungary (Onsite)
  • Travel: Accommodation and travel to Debrecen will be provided for the duration of the assignment.
  • Engagement Type: Fixed-term project assignment (extension possible but not expected)

 

We are seeking experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) consultants to provide hypercare support following a major SAP go-live. The consultants will join an international delivery team led from Germany and work closely with the local Hungarian project lead and SAP functional consultants to stabilize operations, resolve production issues, and ensure a successful transition to business-as-usual support.
 

SCOPE:

  • Providing SAP EWM hypercare and production support.
  • Investigating and resolving functional incidents and defects.
  • Supporting warehouse business users during daily operations.
  • Performing root cause analysis for production issues.
  • Coordinating issue resolution with cross-functional SAP teams.
  • Supporting testing and validation of fixes and system enhancements.
  • Monitoring system stability and identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Documenting issues, resolutions, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Working closely with project management, business stakeholders, and the Germany-based delivery team to ensure timely issue resolution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert SAP EWM functional support during the hypercare period.
  • Analyze business and system issues affecting warehouse operations.
  • Troubleshoot configuration and process-related issues.
  • Support incident prioritization and resolution within agreed service levels.
  • Collaborate with business users and technical teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Participate in daily project and hypercare status meetings.
  • Ensure minimal disruption to warehouse operations following go-live.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation of incidents and resolutions.

 

SKILLS:

Senior Consultants (2 Positions):

  • Minimum 10+ years of SAP consulting experience.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
  • Proven experience supporting SAP go-live hypercare activities.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management and logistics processes.
  • Experience in incident management, defect resolution, and production support.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
  • Fluent English is required; Hungarian is strongly preferred.

 

Mid-Senior Consultants (3 Positions):

  • Minimum 5+ years of SAP consulting experience.
  • Strong SAP EWM functional experience.
  • Experience supporting SAP implementations or production support environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot business process and configuration issues.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • English is required; Hungarian is strongly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • SAP PSS experience (nice to have)
  • Previous experience working in international delivery environments.
  • Experience working with manufacturing or warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of SAP integration with logistics modules.

 

Language Requirements:

  • Hungarian and English preferred.
  • Ideally all five consultants should speak Hungarian.
  • A minimum of three Hungarian-speaking consultants is required; up to two English-only consultants can be accommodated.

 

Team Structure:

The consultants will work within a global delivery organization consisting of:

  • Germany-based Project Management team
  • Local Hungarian Project Lead
  • SAP Functional Consultants
  • Business stakeholders and warehouse operations teams
