We’re looking for an experienced SAP BW/BPC Developer, for our international client.

 

Job details:

  • Role: SAP BW/BPC Developer
  • Location: Hybrid
  • 50% Allocation (160 mandays)
  • Start date: June 2026
  • Duration: 18 months + extension

 

Scope:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP BW/BPC Developer to join a long-term, strategic project focused on delivering high-impact planning solutions. This role is ideal for a technical expert who thrives in agile environments and possesses a deep understanding of the SAP BW/4HANA ecosystem.

 

As a Senior Developer, you will act as a bridge between complex business requirements and technical execution. Your primary focus will be the design, implementation, and optimization of planning applications within BW/4HANA.

 

  • Requirement Engineering: Moderating workshops to capture business needs and translating them into robust technical specifications.
  • Solution Design: Building end-to-end planning solutions using SAP BW/IP and SAP BPC.
  • Technical Development: Implementing data models, extractors, and advanced planning logic using FOX formulas and ABAP OO.
  • Maintenance & Quality: Debugging, issue resolution during testing phases, and ensuring all developments meet strict internal coding standards.
  • Release Management: Preparing transport packages and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Agile Collaboration: Active participation in Kanban ceremonies, synchronizing with stakeholders and project management to ensure high-quality delivery.

 

Skills:

  • SAP BW/4HANA: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in implementation, specifically focusing on IT requirements and extractors.
  • ABAP OO: Minimum 5 years of experience in object-oriented programming within the SAP environment.
  • SAP BPC: Minimum 5 years of in-depth experience in Business Planning and Consolidation projects.
  • SAP BW Integrated Planning (IP): Minimum 5 years of experience, including expert-level proficiency in FOX formulas.
  • Languages: German C1, English B2
