Location: Remote within Spain, Portugal and Poland

Duration: 6 months plus extension

You will be part of the SAP Cloud and Frontend team on the tech side to build, operate and especially innovate the SAP Business Technology Platform adoption in key areas. The role supports and consults business IT teams about the usage of these platform(s) and services to focus on delivering value at high speed.
 

Scope:

• Support, develop and implement projects based on proven development methodologies for SAP BTP.
• Utilize modern Cloud Development Frameworks on hyperscalers to deliver scalable solutions.
• Automate processes and BTP management activities via advanced scripting techniques.
• Contribute to and ensure internal SAP BTP guidelines to bring architecture consistency.
• Design, code, verify, test, document, amend, and refactor moderately complex programs and scripts.
• Develop physical database or data warehouse design elements within set business policies.
• Produce detailed software builds from software source code and establish configuration rules.
• Conduct testing as defined in integration test specifications and track system failures.
• Monitor and log the actual service provided compared to agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
• Carry out software builds and deployment tests in tight coordination with testers and component specialists.

Skills:

Primary skills:

• Strong SAP development experience in large-scale projects (Minimum 3 years).
• Hands-on technical background in the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) environment.
• Solid understanding of modern Cloud Development Frameworks on hyperscalers.
• Proficiency in database design concepts, test scripts development, and systems integration builds.
• Proven experience applying software development standards and tools to achieve well-engineered results.
• Strong analytical skills to review requirements, specify test conditions, and identify risks/issues.

 
Language Requirements:

• English – Fluent (Proficient spoken and written command).

 
Additional Information:

• Collaborates directly with Global IT and key corporate stakeholders.
• Interfaces with business functions including GOPS, Finance, HR, Brand Marketing, and Wholesale/Retail.
• Coordinates with HR Management and Controlling to support cross-functional enablement.
• Minimum Qualifications: Four-year college or university degree focusing on Business Administration/IT, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of overall professional experience in IT, with 1 year specifically in the relevant area.
