We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis & Cloud Specialist to support our customer-facing projects. This is not a managerial role; the Customer Engagement Manager will handle customer management. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in SAP Basis and SAP Cloud environments and can effectively support implementations, upgrades, and operations.
 

Scope:

• Support SAP Basis and SAP Cloud environments with technical expertise.
• Perform installations, upgrades, and system maintenance for SAP solutions.
• Provide guidance on software components, add-ons, and compatibility for SAP products.
• Understand differences between solutions, products, and managed services.
• Advise on SAP release strategies, PAM, and Service Marketplace (SWDC experience).
• Collaborate with internal teams and customer contacts to ensure smooth operations.
• Apply IT Operations and ITIL methodologies in day-to-day tasks.

Skills:

• SAP Basis: 3–6 years of hands-on experience.
• SAP Cloud: Minimum 3–4 years, preferably 4, with customer-facing experience.
• Solid understanding of SAP solutions, products, add-ons, and their compatibility.
• Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and managed services.
• Clear understanding of SAP Business Suite applications, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, compatible databases, and general use cases.
• Experience with SAP release strategies for the above solutions/products.
• Experience with PAM, Service Marketplace (SWDC), installation, and upgrades (at least 2 hands-on projects).
• Basic knowledge of IT Operations and ITIL methodology.
• Strong communication skills in English and German.
• Location: Must be based in Slovakia. No travel required.
