The client is looking for Experienced Java + CAPM architect with deep expertise (overall 12+ years) in Java (Core, Advanced, and Spring ecosystem) and hands-on experience with SAP’s CAPM. This role involves product development for SAP, designing and developing scalable, cloud-native applications on SAP BTP, leveraging both Java and SAP CAPM frameworks. Expected to deliver high-quality, performant backend services and guide architecture, performance tuning, and best practices across the team for SAP product Development.

Scope:

Contributing to product development for SAP by building Fiori applications using the CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model)* deployed on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry.

• Contribute with Java skills in design and development of product for SAP
• Build cloud-native applications using SAP CAPM on SAP BTP
• Develop CDS models, custom event handlers, and CAP service layers
• Create secure and scalable backend architectures using Spring Boot and SAP HANA
• Implement role-based authentication/authorization using XSUAA
• Work with data persistence using JPA, CAP CDS, and SAP HANA DB
• Ensure CI/CD integration, test automation, and deployment on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry
• Guide and mentor junior developers and participate in technical design reviews
• Debug and resolve complex issues, ensuring optimal system performance
• Developer will focus on the Java skills he brings to the team & can upskill on delta areas.
