We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer for our international client.

Scope:

As a core member of the delivery team, your day-to-day will involve a mix of high-level architecture and hands-on execution:

• Design, code, and test high-quality IBMi software solutions that power our global logistics and operations.
• Enhance existing IBMi applications while keeping an eye on the future—implementing fully free-form RPG and modernizing legacy code.
• Don’t just make it work; make it fast. You’ll analyze application performance and identify areas for optimization.
• Navigate a multi-cultural environment, working with stakeholders and distributed teams to secure service readiness.
• Actively participate in our IBMi Chapter by sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and driving the Continuous Improvement process.

Required Skills:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as an IBMi Developer or Application Analyst.
• RPG/CL Mastery: Proven expertise in ILE RPG (specifically fully free-form) and ILE CL programming.
• The Modern Stack: Solid experience with Java SE and a strong grasp of designing/integrating REST APIs.
• Data & Integration: A SQL practitioner with hands-on experience processing XML and JSON (from RPG and DB2) and working with IBM MQ messaging systems.
• Tooling & DevOps: Proficiency with RDi, VS Code, Git, and GitHub. You should also be comfortable with change management tools like Turnover, ARCAD, or Azure DevOps.
• Fluent in English
