Scope:

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend services and microservices
• Build and optimize data processing pipelines handling large-scale datasets
• Develop, integrate, and improve machine learning components within the application landscape
• Enhance ETL and ML backend solutions to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Implement containerized solutions and deploy applications to Kubernetes/OpenShift environments
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment
• Collaborate on the development of advanced search, matching, and data discovery capabilities
• Optimize database interactions and backend performance for data-intensive applications
• Support the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and operations

Skills:

• Strong experience in Python development
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing Microservices architectures
• Expertise in containerization technologies and orchestration platforms:
• Kubernetes
• OpenShift / Container-as-a-Service (CaaS)
• Experience building scalable backend applications capable of processing large data volumes
• Knowledge of software development best practices, code quality, and performance optimization

Nice to have:

• Ansible
• Docker and/or Podman
• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins preferred)
• Bash scripting
• Experience with classical Machine Learning algorithms:
• XGBoost
• Bag of Words
• TF-IDF
• Data analysis and visualization using:
• SQL
• Seaborn
• Matplotlib
• Experience developing and enhancing ETL and Machine Learning backends
• Database experience with Oracle Database and/or Microsoft SQL Server
