The team is looking to build infrastructure that powers of personalised learning experiences. This involves building platform capabilities to ingest, store and transform data and help define how learner data is derived from learner activity and our curriculum knowledge maps.
Key responsibilities:
- Feature Development: Spearhead the design, build, and testing of responsive and accessible web solutions, ensuring top-notch quality and user experience.
- Quality and Scalability: Ensure high quality and scalability of the solutions delivered by the team using modern engineering practices.
- Efficient Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other developers to foster a productive team environment while actively supporting senior developers
- Operational Excellence: Take ownership of investigating incidents across different environments, ensuring they have all necessary tools and resources for efficient troubleshooting and resolution.
- Agile Delivery: Work within an Agile Scrum team to plan, develop, and deliver product increments iteratively.
Desired Qualifications:
- Backend Development: 2+ years of experience building backend services with Node.js and TypeScript, including API design and AWS Lambda.
- AWS and NoSQL: 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and NoSQL databases.
- Observability and Automated Testing: Experience implementing automated testing for backend services and data infrastructure.
