Project Overview:
The program is the Client’s firmwide initiative to accelerate technology asset readiness, with a strong focus on AI solution engineering. RFM supports all Client technology offerings, ensuring market readiness across the asset and engagement lifecycle, and is backed by deep experience in client service, asset teams, and readiness reviews.
Role Summary:
The GenAI Solution Architect plays a key role in the Client’s Ready for Market (RFM) program, the Client’s firmwide initiative to accelerate technology asset readiness with a strong focus on AI solution engineering.
This role is responsible for designing, shaping, and governing production-ready GenAI solutions that can be safely, securely, and consistently taken to market. You will work closely with asset teams, AI engineers, platform teams, and risk/governance stakeholders to ensure GenAI solutions meet Client standards across architecture, security, compliance, and operational readiness.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on GenAI architecture expertise with the ability to drive standards, reusable patterns, and readiness-by-design across multiple assets and engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Design end‑to‑end GenAI solution architectures covering use‑case definition, system design, integration patterns, and production deployment.
- Define and maintain reference architectures for common GenAI patterns, including:
- Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Agentic and workflow‑based AI solutions
- Tool integration and orchestration
- Ensure GenAI solutions are market‑ready by design, addressing:
- Security, identity, and access control
- Data privacy and responsible AI considerations
- Observability, monitoring, and operational support
- Support RFM readiness reviews by producing and validating required technical artifacts (architecture diagrams, testing evidence, monitoring approach, and remediation plans).
- Partner with AI engineers and delivery teams to guide solutions from PoC to production, improving reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Establish and promote engineering standards, guardrails, and best practices for GenAI solution development across PwC.
- Identify opportunities for reuse and acceleration, contributing to shared assets, templates, and playbooks.
- Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders, clearly communicating architectural decisions and trade‑offs.
Requirements:
- Strong background in software engineering or solution architecture, with experience designing cloud‑native, distributed systems.
- Hands‑on experience architecting GenAI / LLM‑based solutions (e.g. MCP, RAG, Agentic workflows).
- Solid understanding of:
- API and integration design
- Security and authentication concepts (e.g. OAuth2, token‑based access)
- Data and system design for AI‑enabled applications
- Ability to work across multiple teams and translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong documentation, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with agent frameworks or orchestration tools (e.g. LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI).
- Familiarity with enterprise cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Exposure to AI governance, compliance, or market readiness processes.
- Experience contributing to reusable platforms or shared technical assets.
