Senior Full Stack Developer / Contract

Scope:

Your main tasks are:

• Development of the new API’s to support our clients, fixing bugs;
• Upgrading and maintaining the operations for the backend and frontend applications;
• Looking for opportunities to improve the product;

As a developer in the squad you’ll be responsible for maintaining and developing an advantageous (user) experience on several of existing applications and services – in the cloud – which are used throughout the whole organisation. Additionally we want to accelerate the development of our services, and that’s where you come in!

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of professional experience
• Core Backend Development: Expertise in Java 21+ and Spring Boot 3 / Spring Framework 6, specifically covering Web, Security, Caching, and JMS.
• Front-End & UI: At least 1 year of experience with React.js and Javascript, including test automation of front-ends.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Minimum of 5 years of experience with AWS, including services like ECS Fargate, SNS, SQS, Cloudwatch, Cloudformation, API Gateway, and general Cloud Security.
• Database Management: At least 3 years of experience with MongoDB (basic CRUD) and demonstrated proficiency with PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Architecture & Methodology: Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microservices architecture, along with a solid understanding of Agile concepts (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and Modern web technologies (HTTP, REST, JSON).
• Tools & Communication: General knowledge of the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• English B2

Nice to Have:

• Extended Backend & Databases: Knowledge of Spring Boot 3 (AOP, Openfeign), Quarkus, Thymeleaf, and advanced MongoDB skills (Aggregation framework and advanced CRUD).
• AWS Specialized Services: Practical experience with AWS Lambda (> 1 year) and AWS DynamoDB (< 1 year).
• Data & Compliance: Familiarity with data-related technologies such as Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow, as well as EU GDPR knowledge.
• Marketing Tools: Experience with Selligent (Marigold).
