We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with strong integration experience in Capital Markets environments to join a strategic Commodities initiative within Treasury. This role combines hands-on technical development with functional knowledge of Murex, acting as a key link between Front Office, Back Office, Risk, and IT teams.
This is a long-term opportunity within a complex, multi-system environment, offering exposure to end-to-end trade lifecycle processes and large-scale financial systems integration.
Scope:
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Front Office platforms (including Murex) and Back Office systems
- Implement and manage workflows using Camunda (or similar BPM tools)
- Analyze and support end-to-end trade lifecycle processes across trading, confirmation, settlement, and accounting
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple systems and interfaces
- Troubleshoot production issues and proactively improve operational processes
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Risk, and IT teams to define and deliver solutions
- Produce technical documentation and support SIT/UAT testing activities
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4–5+ years of experience in Capital Markets / Investment Banking technology
- Strong experience with system integrations (Front-to-Back architecture)
- Hands-on experience with Murex or similar trading platforms
- Solid understanding of trade lifecycle and Back Office processes (confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, accounting)
- Knowledge of financial products: derivatives, FX, fixed income, money markets
- Technical expertise in APIs, messaging systems, middleware/ETL
- Proficiency in SQL and data formats such as JSON/XML
- Experience with BPMN and workflow engines (e.g., Camunda
