Job details:

• Role: Cloud Data Migration Architect
• Full-time
• This is a hybrid role based in the EU; while it is mostly remote, the candidate will be required to travel within the EU region approximately once or twice every two months.
• Start date: 29/06/2026
• End date: 31/12/2026

Skills and experience:

• Cloud & Big Data Architecture: Extensive experience as a GCP Data Architect, specifically leading large-scale migrations to BigQuery.
• Database Expertise: Deep expertise in legacy environments, specifically Teradata (required). Oracle/Exadata experience is preferred.
• Migration Specialization: Proven track record in Cloud Database, Data Lake, and end-to-end data migration strategies.
• Technical Ecosystem: Hands-on experience with Databricks and DataProc, and support for Data Streaming SIG initiatives.
• Development & SQL: Proficiency in Java or Python and advanced SQL tuning for complex workload optimization.
• 6+ years of experience
• Fluent English is required; Italian is strongly preferred.
