Job details:

  • Full Remote, occasional travel to Prague
  • Full-time
  • 1 year + extensions
  • Working Hours: Must be able to overlap with US hours (9-6pm CET)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-native data and AI solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
  • Manage and enhance Azure-based environments to ensure high performance, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into robust, innovative cloud solutions.
  • Integrate AI and data solutions with Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and third-party systems.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of cloud workloads using infrastructure-as-code and DevOps best practices.
  • Promote operational excellence, security, and compliance in all cloud engineering processes.
  • Communicate effectively (both verbal and written) with IT personnel, executives, and user communities.
  • Continuously develop your skills and empower your team’s development with the support of the wider PwC network.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional mobile engineering experience, with a proven track record of shipping native Android apps at scale.
  • Deep proficiency in the modern Android stack: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose/Views, Coroutines/Flow, Foreground Services, Firebase, Git, and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience establishing and owning mobile CI/CD, automated testing (unit, integration, device-in-the-loop), crash/error analytics, and streamlined release processes.:
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail and a proven capacity to diagnose and resolve complex issues under pressure.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaboration & Autonomy: A proactive, self-starter mentality with a strong sense of ownership, capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including those in US time zones.
  • Professional Maturity: The ability to proactively identify and escalate risks, ask for help when needed, and maintain composure to de-escalate challenging situations.
  • Innovation & Guidance: A forward-thinking mindset to propose innovative solutions, improve the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and guide non-technical stakeholders.
