Overview:

We are looking for 2 Mid-Level Android Developers to join our. In this role, you will focus on:

• Implementing new mobile features
• Extending existing functionalities
• Maintaining clean, high-quality code
• Working within a dynamic Agile environment
• Collaborating closely with business analysts on feature specifications
• Working with designers to deliver an exceptional user experience

Scope:

• Feature Development & Refactoring: Implement new mobile features for the banking platform and refactor existing functionalities to improve performance and maintainability.
• UI/UX Implementation: Build complex UI screens with custom views and layouts using Jetpack Compose in close collaboration with the design team.
• Business & Feature Specification: Partner with business analysts to help define, scope, and specify incoming feature requirements.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Drive comprehensive test coverage by writing robust unit, integration, and UI tests.
• Agile & Release Practices: Follow established Git branching strategies (e.g., Git Flow), participate in continuous integration pipelines via TeamCity, and apply security concepts and code-quality tools (linting, build tooling, dependency injection).

Deliverables:

• Clean, scalable, and maintainable Android code adhering to solid architecture principles.
• Fully functional, complex UI screens built with Jetpack Compose.
• Thorough test suites (unit, integration, and UI tests) ensuring stable release quality.
• Clear collaboration outputs with business analysts and product designers.

Skills:

Technical Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional Android development experience in a dynamic Agile environment.
• Kotlin Mastery: Advanced knowledge of modern Kotlin features, including Coroutines, Flows, and suspend functions.
• Jetpack Compose: Hands-on expertise building complex screens, custom components, and layouts.
• Architecture & Clean Code: Strong refactoring discipline, clean code practices, and practical application of dependency injection.
• Testing Discipline: Demonstrated experience writing unit, integration, and UI tests.
• CI/CD & Tooling: Advanced experience with TeamCity, build tooling, linting, and Git Flow (or similar branching workflows).
• Security & Best Practices: Firm understanding of Android security concepts and modern mobile industry trends.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (no short-term bootcamp or crash course backgrounds).
