Role Summary:

Our client is looking for an experienced AI Solution Architect to lead AI strategy, solution architecture, and technology transformation initiatives. The role focuses on helping organisations assess business processes, data capabilities, platforms, and operating models while identifying opportunities where AI can deliver measurable business value and improved customer outcomes.

The AI Solution Architect will design end-to-end AI architectures spanning data ingestion, modern data platforms, machine learning, Generative AI, Agentic AI, integration, security, governance, and responsible AI. The role serves as a bridge between executive stakeholders, business teams, data professionals, engineers, and delivery teams, ensuring AI solutions are scalable, secure, and business-aligned.

Scope:

• Lead client engagements focused on AI strategy, solution architecture, and technology transformation.

• Facilitate executive workshops, strategy sessions, and architecture reviews.

• Assess current-state business processes, operating models, technology landscapes, and data maturity.

• Identify and prioritise AI use cases and develop implementation roadmaps.

• Advise senior stakeholders on AI opportunities, risks, investment priorities, and adoption strategies.

• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle.

• Design end-to-end architectures for AI and analytics solutions.

• Define architecture patterns supporting:
  – Generative AI
  – Agentic AI
  – Predictive Analytics
  – Intelligent Automation

• Knowledge Management and Retrieval Systems

• Develop architecture blueprints, reference architectures, and solution designs.

• Define integration approaches across enterprise systems, applications, APIs, and cloud platforms.

• Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and production-ready.

• Evaluate existing data architectures and define AI-ready target-state architectures.

• Design data ingestion, storage, lineage, governance, and security approaches.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish implementation standards and delivery patterns.

• Support architecture decisions across Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, and related ecosystems.

• Define Responsible AI frameworks and governance controls.

• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, regulatory, and risk requirements.

• Establish monitoring, auditability, explainability, and human-in-the-loop controls where appropriate.

• Support operationalisation and lifecycle management of AI solutions.

• Provide architecture leadership throughout delivery programmes.

• Review technical designs and assure solution quality.

• Support estimation, planning, and technical governance processes.

• Mentor engineers, data architects, and AI practitioners.

• Contribute to thought leadership, capability development, and business growth initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, or Technology Consulting.
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Data and AI solutions.
• Strong experience translating business requirements into technical architecture designs.
• Experience working directly with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across complex transformation programmes.
• Experience assessing current-state environments and defining future-state architectures.

Technical Requirements

• Strong understanding of Enterprise Solution Architecture.
• Strong understanding of Data Architecture and modern data platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, and modern cloud data ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Strong understanding of Agentic AI architectures and orchestration patterns.
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics.
• Strong understanding of API and Integration Architectures.
• Strong understanding of Security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Architecture Modelling and Design Methodologies.
• Experience defining Responsible AI frameworks and AI governance controls.
