Job details:

• Role: SAP Solution Manager & ABAP Developer
• Location: 90% Remote / 10% On-site (Nürnberg, Germany — approx. 2–3 days every 3 months)

• Duration: 12 months + extension

Scope:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) & ABAP Developer to support a strategic client project. In this role, you will play a key part in customizing and enhancing SAP Solution Manager processes, integrating third-party tools, and building intuitive reporting dashboards to streamline IT workflows.

Responsabilities:

• SolMan Customization: Design, configure, and optimize Change Request Management (ChaRM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes within SAP Solution Manager.
• ABAP Development: Develop custom enhancements, workflows, and tailored ABAP solutions within the SAP SolMan ecosystem.
• System Integration: Implement and support Cross-Connector integrations (e.g., connecting SolMan with tools like Jira).
• Reporting & Dashboards: Build clear, actionable dashboards and reporting solutions to monitor ITSM/ChaRM metrics and operational KPIs.
• Collaboration & Onboarding: Participate in early knowledge transfer sessions and collaborate closely with client stakeholders both remotely and during quarterly on-site syncs in Nürnberg.

Skills required:

• Strong development background within SAP Solution Manager environments.
• In-depth, practical customization experience with ChaRM and ITSM.
• Demonstrated experience integrating SAP SolMan with external tools via Cross-Connectors (e.g., Jira).
• Proven ability to configure SolMan dashboards and custom reporting mechanisms.
• German (C1 standard or higher)
