Scope:
The client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst Accounts Payable to lay the foundation of operational excellence in our finance processes. You will have the unique opportunity to shape our digital future by gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional and technological specifications and designs. This includes the design and implementation of projects with a focus on Accounts Payable. You will closely collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify and address recurring issues while exploring opportunities to enhance efficiency, standardization, and process improvements. In addition, you will provide configuration inputs, analyze configuration options / settings and support the implementation. Consequently, the role is responsible for the full solution from an IM perspective. In this position, you will play a key role in turning our aspirations of a digital transformation into reality and lifting the company to the next level.
The candidate will:
- Work independently on business processes and application solutions with a specific focus on Accounts Payable
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate it into technological and functional frameworks, workflow processes or other relevant documentation
- Support the development of the solution architecture and design of IT solutions, e.g. SAP VIM and SAP Concur
- Provide day-to-day operational support for related activities, responding to related inquiries and issues
- Gather requirements and pinpoint process and system enhancements incl. best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for required enhancements, potential gaps, governance requirements and more
- Design business process documentation, test plans, and workflows incl. user acceptance testing
- Oversee the design, planning, execution, monitoring, and refinement of testing processes
- Prepare configuration settings or scripts for deployment to the target systems or applications
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor the performance relevant processes
- Work with resources from multiple competence centers across the globe
- Support the Digital Finance Team on Finance, Vendor Invoice Management and Travel & Expense management topics
- Supervise occasionally Junior Business Analysts
- Keep up to speed with “best practice” evolution in respective business process areas of Accounts Payable, Vendor Invoice Management and Travel & Expense management
Skills:
- Strong finance background, e.g. in the manufacturing or consumer goods industry (food & beverages industry is a plus)
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in SAP FI, SAP VIM and SAP Concur with a focus on accounts payable, and with a good knowledge of the integration with other modules and in particular with Finance
- Expertise in finance technologies, e.g. ERP, consolidation or cashflow management systems
- Independent and self-driven personality
- Accounts Payable module mandatory: SAP VIM
- Skills to create internal and external partnerships/networks across the organization
- Analytical mind and attention to detail make you an ideal candidate
- Strong communicator with a team player mindset and positive attitude
- Experience in business transformation projects is an advantage
- Graduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a comparable field
- Fluent language skills in English (verbal and written)
