Scope:
Project is in a pilot phase currently. Client has existing teams with velocity and schedules in place, they are looking to add senior people to join these teams.
As a developer in the squad you’ll be responsible for maintaining and developing an advantageous (user) experience on several of existing applications and services – in the cloud – which are used throughout the whole organisation.
Additionally we want to accelerate the development of our services, and that’s where you come in! You will interact with a wide range of colleagues: business stakeholders, developers, architects, product owners
Skills:
- Technical knowledge must be at least 2-3 years hands-on experience and practice with the required skillset.
- Modern Java (v11 or more) is not a secret to you and you’re passionate about its ecosystem (Spring Boot,...).
- The Atlassian stack is no unknown terrain for you.
- You are well-versed in modern web technologies such as HTTP, REST & JSON
- You don’t need to chant SQL but you’re not afraid of singing along.
- Experience with MongoDB, Spring framework / Quarkus and/or Thymeleaf and/or Golang are a plus.
- Really nice would be if AWS is something you’ve worked with before.
- Things like CloudFormation, ECS, SNS, SQS, S3, Lambda and CloudWatch are more than unicorn names for you
- Front-end work does not make you run and scream but instead React.js, JavaScript and Test automation of front-ends are buddies (maybe long time not seen buddies but still).
- Must be able personally implement, build, migrate, manage
- Only theoretical knowledge might not be enough for the role’s successful fulfilment

- You love helping business go fast but you’re also good at identifying the technical debt breaking point

- You build things with today’s security needs in mind
- Having worked in an environment with GDPR knowledge is also a plus
- Java v19+ knowledge would even make you more wanted.
- English is a must have, any other language is nice to have.
